Delivering the hottest music acts and hosting the biggest events in the city is what Today’s Hit Network does and Laneway gigs is an evolution of this. Listeners are invited to an iconic Laneway location in the city for a unique pop-up event experience that brings together the hottest Australian music acts, street food vendors and urban culture.

Jessica Mauboy opened the Hit Laneway Gigs in Adelaide and has since been followed by Vance Joy, Samantha Jade, Mashd N Kutcher, Generik, Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP, Odd Mob, Anja Nissen, Short Stack, Savage and Joel Fletcher.

More than 12,000 people have attended Hit Laneway Gigs across Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. As well as this, videos from the gigs have generated over 200,000 views!

Due to the success of the Laneway Gigs, hit105 in Brisbane partnered with the Brisbane City Council, Channel 9 and Eat Street Markets to celebrate the iconic Story Bridge’s 75th anniversary, resulting in the ultimate community event. With approximately 75,000 attendees, a massive line-up of more than 13 music acts across three hit105 branded stages, the event was a raging success!
